Rick was such a wonderful man who had more love and kindness in his heart than anyone I’ve ever met.
Most of the time he was the first person to report to work in the morning. If you were lucky enough to be the 2nd, you’d catch him reading his bible.
I had lunch with Rick at least once a week. The experiences and wisdom he shared with me were priceless.
My favorite thing about Rick is no matter what life was dealing him, he met it head-on with a smile. How he maintained his positivity and courage many times left me baffled, but more importantly inspired.
I only knew Rick for two years but I am a better man today because of his friendship, and I am forever grateful.
